Forticare members may avail of Out-Patient Health Care Services at any Forticare Clinic or accredited diagnostic and laboratory center. These services are designed to provide convenient and accessible medical care without the need for hospital confinement.
Services include:
- Physical & Online Out-patient Consultations
- Pre-natal and Post-natal Consultations (for pregnant members)
- Referrals to accredited medical specialists
- Treatment of minor injuries
- Out-patient surgeries (not requiring confinement), including cataract extraction (excluding the cost of intraocular lens)
- Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat (EENT) treatment
Special Diagnostic & Laboratory Procedures, when medically indicated and prescribed by an accredited physician, Forticare will cover:
- X-ray
- CT Scan (Computed Tomography Scan)
- 2D Echocardiography with Doppler
- Ultrasound
- MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
- Electromyography (EMG)
- Nuclear Test
- Other medically necessary tests or procedures deemed appropriate by Forticare
